Professor Sardar M.N. Islam has lived, studied, worked and travelled (extensively) in different countries over a long period of time. He adopts a global and humanistic approach in his research and academic works. In his research, he has undertaken rigorous scientific studies of universal and emerging issues in several disciplines. Currently, he is a Professor at Victoria University's Institute for Sustainable Industries and Liveable Cities. He was a Professor of Business, Economics and Finance from 2007 to 2017, and has had many years of academic work experience in teaching, supervision, and multi-disciplinary research. His research has attracted international acclaim, leading to a number of appointments as distinguished visiting professor, visiting professor or adjunct professor in artificial intelligence, accounting, industrial engineering, finance, economics and management in several different countries. Professor Islam has also received a many invitations to address international conferences as a keynote speaker. He has published a large number of research books in artificial intelligence and digitization, game theory, operations research, supply chain management, accounting, finance, business, economics and law. These books are published by prestigious publishers and the majority of his books are published in highly regarded book series. Deepak Puthal is an Assistant Professor at Khalifa University, UAE. Before this position, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney, and as a graduate research fellow at Data 61, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia. He has received his Ph.D. in Engineering and IT from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He is an IEEE Distinguished Speaker (Rock Star), selected by IEEE CTSoc. He is the recipient of the 2019 Best IEEE ComSoc Young Researcher Award (For Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region), 2018 IEEE TCSC Award for Excellence in Scalable Computing (Early Career Researcher), and 2017 IEEE Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award (IEEE Computer Society and STC on Smart Computing). Between March 2013 and March 2014, he was a Research Associate at Qatar Mobility Innovation Center (QMIC), Doha Qatar, in the Intelligent Transport and Mobility Group. He has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Silchar, India, between August 2012 and February 2013. His research interests include cybersecurity, blockchain, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and distributed computing (Fog/Edge Computing). He has received several best paper awards from IEEE and IETE. He serves on the editorial boards of top quality international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, International Journal of Communication Systems (John Wiley & Sons), and Internet Technology Letters (John Wiley & Sons) and PC Chair in several IEEE and ACM International Conferences/Symposiums. Pavel Krömer (firstname.lastname@example.org) earned his Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. Beginning in 2005, he worked in industry, and he joined the Department of Computer Science, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, in 2010. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, in 2014 and a researcher at the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center, VSB-Technical University of Ostrava. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, and applications of intelligent methods. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
